Phastraq VFX Ltd. is a remote studio formed to help content creators produce images and videos that are impossible to capture in camera. We provide services to film, television, music videos and commercials.

Our primary services include: Rotoscoping, Compositing, various aspects of 3D animation, motion graphics and design.

Michael K. Richards

Creative Director

The C.E.O. and Creative Director of Phastraq VFX Ltd., Michael (a.k.a. Phastraq), has been a professional graphic artist since 2001 and has been involved in animation, film, TV production, calypso, screen printing, fashion design, and “kiddies” carnival designs from a very early age.

He has served as:

Lead Motion Graphic Designer at CCN TV6 from 2008 – 2011
Assistant Graphic Artist at Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago – Corporate Communications Division from 2012 – 2013
Lead Graphic artist and Motion Designer at Restaurant Holdings Ltd. (Franchisee of Burger King, Popeye’s, and Lil Caesar’s restaurants) from 2014 – 2016
President of the Trinidad and Tobago Animation Network (TTAN) from 2012 – 2015
Vice President of the Trinidad and Tobago Animation Network (TTAN) from 2015 – 2017

Keevyn Mohammed

Snr. Graphic Artist

Having started his career in pursuit of an Information Technology degree and working in the field for several years, Keevyn soon realized he was truly an artist at heart. He decided to instead pursue his passion for design and began working on his own Freelance projects.

He was hired into the Corporate Communications Team for the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Health, where he worked on many national and regional projects related to health and health education. After his tenure ended, he moved into the private sector and worked for several privately-owned companies in Brand Management, Graphic Design, Social Media Marketing and Advertising.

He is creative and innovative, with a keen eye for detail and openly welcomes the learning of new tools and techniques that ensures a client’s vision is met and exceeded.

Michaela Richards-Weekes

Production Manager

Michaela oversees all production activities and operations, managing the production schedule and supervising the production team responsible for creating the quality products done by our team, as we turn our clients’ visions into reality.

She has a creative and artistic mindset, singing calypso between the ages of 8-15 years old. She is an excellent cook, a hobby baker and an exceptional hairdresser. She also possesses a special set of listening and communication skills ensuring that each client is well satisfied.

Michaela is currently widening her skillset by learning graphic design to better serve our clients and the entire Phastraq VFX team.
